It's been awhile...

It's been awhile since I last posted to this blog. I feel like I've met up with an old friend, wanting to catch up and stay in touch, something that I will certainly strive to do.

What compelled me to revisit my blogosphere? The elections, the political process, the state of our government, and how I see it.

Today, not feeling well, I stayed home and found myself planted in front of the television set. Story after story came on about how the Republicans were gearing up to beat the Democrats, what Republican candidate would be most likely to beat President Obama, and Herman Cain telling the media to get back on message. But what is the message? I hear a lot of bashing going on, from both sides of the fence, sound bytes and the like. But I don't hear a message just yet and why is that?
