Taiwan has shut a highway lane to traffic, lowered the speed limit, and put up protective nets to help more than 10,000 butterflies cross the road during their annual migration. The milkweed butterflies are native to the island off China and have distinct white dots on purple brown wings. The butterflies fly north this time of year before mating.
