Hurdles

We are all faced with challenges, some of which are beyond our control and others that are of our own making. Regardless of how the challenge finds us, it is how we navigate our way through that defines our character. I'm not sure if this is a lesson learned with age or if the knowledge of character building is a function of self awareness. In many ways, it is a function of both.

As do many others, I find myself faced with challenges. Find myself over analyzing the outcomes. Find myself stressing over the path to those outcomes. All of this only to find that the answer lay right before me, I just have to open my eyes to see.

Perhaps that is the lesson - life itself is pretty simple, we are the ones that make it challenging.
